For school the system may included 330 UniSolar PVL-128T Panels on a metal roof, and 15 SunnyBoy 2500U-SBD inverters. The panels are also know as BIPV, Building Integrated Photovolaic, and are the darker area of the school roof. Total DC output of the system is 42.4 kw, and total AC output is 37.5 kw. The system could save schools over $10,000 per year in electricity costs and will eliminate 21 tons of CO2 emissions each year. Our recommendation to install a particular solar energy system will be based on a detailed analysis of the school's energy bills, roof condition, shading and orientation, electrical system, local weather conditions, environmental interests, financial goals, economic parameters and aesthetic preferences.
